If the salesperson who assisted me is correct, the negative to this warranty is that if a tech can't assist me with the problem by phone, I will have to arrange shipment back to the manufacturer. I'm not sure until I actually receive the booklet if this means I have to save the packaging, etc.

Pros: Good Value
I was able to get the extended warranty included with the package deal I purchased. So far I have not needed to use it as my portable air conditioner is working fine. But who knows in 2 years??? Nice to know it is there to fall back on.

Using two units in adjacent large rooms (Actually one very large room). Makes the hot,uncomfortable weather into a cool, livable space.Well worth the price - very good value.

Praying that it won't be necessary to use the warranty. Hopefully the product is well made and will last many years so the warranty won't be necessary!
